Aesthetic foot care

If your living with pain in your feet it could be due to underlining aesthetic foot conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, and corns and calluses, there is multiple minor surgical procedures to ensure that one's feet look great in summer flip-flops and fit into their favorite shoes.

Bunions

This is one of the most common types of cosmetic foot surgeries. It occurs when the bones in the front part of your foot begin to shift out of place. This causes the tip of your big toe to get pulled toward the smaller toes and forces the joint at the base of your big toe to stick out. Having a bunion can be painful but also an inconvenience. Many bunions will make it difficult to fit in different types of shoes. These procedures will take away your pain but also restructure the anatomy of your foot.

Hammertoe

Hammertoes are foot deformities that occur due to an imbalance in the muscles, tendons, or ligaments that normally hold the toe straight. The type of shoes you wear, foot structure, trauma, and certain disease processes can contribute to the development of these deformities.  One will notice an abnormal bend in the middle joint of the toe. In order to fix this deformity, an implant will be placed in the toe to hold in place and achieve the straight correction

Other Types of Foot Surgery

In addition to the surgeries listed above, there are many other common procedures that improve the look and function of the foot.  Cosmetic foot surgery is done to correct an aesthetic problem but many times this problem will also be associated with pain. The foot is extremely complex and everyone's feet differentiates immensely. Given that, we will address and treat your issue with a personalized approach. We understand that not every issue has associated pain but could simply affect the look of your foot or the way you run/ walk.
